Pocket full of sunshine.

Hey guys! I know it's been a while! I've had a pretty bad malfunction with my desktop for a few weeks now. So, what do I do? Upgrade! The other night I went ahead and bought a Toshiba laptop! I got it for a really great price. Here are the technical details: 4GB, dual processor, 15.6 HD TruBrite Display screen with Advanced Graphics, built-in webcam, and WINDOWS 7! Yeah, I'm a little too excited. I really love it! Its definitely an upgrade from my old Dell and Compaq desktop sets.

Happy early Mardi Gras! Tomorrow is the big day!!! I went to two parades already since Carnival season began. Friday, accidentally, I got caught up at the Merchants parade. It is full of local business instead of all the Krewe's. Then, Sunday, I went to the Children's parade with my little brother and some younger family. The Children's parade was by far the LONGEST Mardi Gras parade I've ever been to! It is even bigger than the huge one on Mardi Gras day called The Krewe of Krewes.

I want to congratulate the NEW ORLEANS SAINTS for their huge victory since I haven't got to write about it yet! Here in Louisiana, WE STILL ARE GOING CRAZY! No lie! Streets have signs up everywhere! I wore my BREES jersey for a week straight after we won!!! We are having a blast here!!

College this semester is going really well. I have TONS of work due after our Mardi Gras break. All parish schools and colleges along with most workplaces and organizations are off for three days or so. I have class back on Friday.

How are you all doing? I'll have to make my way to catch up on some blogs!!

Sharon...we've missed you!! I am so glad you're back and doing well, sounds like lots of great celebrations for good reason! The season of Lent will be here soon enough...LOL!

Final Execution.

Things are slowly getting better. I told my parents and closest people who knew the situation about the whole ordeal with my ex the other day. I am feeling much better to be quite honest. Everyone that I spoke to about it, said it didn't have to be taken as a bad thing. This was closure for me. This is the end of the rope. I know what I don't want and what I do want. After being hurt and used and manipulated, at least now I know what I am made of. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger right? Today was pleasant!! IT SNOWED! IT TOTALLY SNOWED ! Yeah, sorry, I've never seen snow before!!!!!! It was so amazing!!! Snow in Louisiana is  so uncommon. I woke up this morning, and there was snow EVERYWHERE. I ran outside and was like "holy crap this is great!" I yelled at my mom and she ran outside and I threw a snowball at her. Funny how sometimes you are just tempted to look at that old photo. The one where you and him are standing so happily, smiling, hair glistening in the sunshine of the setting sun at the boardwalk, waiting on forever to come. Then, you come across a picture of him and the one he left you for. Funny how you even came across it in the first place, right. You can't help but stare into his eyes and try to sense what he is feeling right there through that glossy picture. Is he really happier with her? Does he ever miss what he had before? Then, shifting a few centimeters over to her eyes, thinking, do you really know what you have? Why did you take him away from me?
