Eternal.

Shall I begin by giving the new year an ALOHA or maybe Bienvenue and even a Willkommen and Failte? Welcome, 2 0 1 0!! I can't believe another year has passed! There are so many things I would like to accomplish and begin for this year. Currently, I am in the process of, how shall I say, revamping my bedroom. I tend to re-arrange it quite often and by doing so I have accumulated so much JUNK. I have declutterized (is that even a word?) the majority of it and I finally have space on my walls now. I had so many big organizer things and places to keep junk. I am the queen of procrastination so, naturally, I'm sitting down here on the computer typing to you all surrounded in a project I don't feel like finishing. Ha! I always seem to get really ready for a project and anticipate it up until I actually start it then halfway through, I get overwhelmed and procrastinate. Maybe a New Year's Resolution could be STOP PROCRASTINATING!

But, really. A New Year's Resolution for me is to CUT DOWN on smoking. I have been smoking a pack a day or more and I realize that it is getting expensive and not helping me LIVE any longer. I'm not ready to quit altogether just yet, but my first goal is to cut down. Someone said just to quit cold turkey and I thought about it, but I just don't want to stop altogether. The first step in actually quitting something is actually WANTING to, so I know it would be impossible to quit altogether since I really don't have that desire.

I start school back up at the University on January 19. I have to be focused and ready for this large endeavor I am headed towards. Last semester I really really really messed up. So, I am organizing and getting everything ready so I can have a clean study environment and a happy space to come home to. I really do have so much crap in my room. I don't have anywhere to put it! Does that mean I should get rid of it if I have no place to put it? Or does that mean I should make a place to put it? No, that is what got me cluttered in the first place...

It really is alot of trouble cleaning out your life, so to speak. We all have so many items and things but who really have the space to keep it all?? Exactly. Me either. Anyway, This year should be full of more stories and adventures for you all to follow me with. I'm excited, but again, it's just another year. Another time to live and improve. Happy New Year!

Easy solution on the clutter, have you touched said item, needed it in the last week, month? If not you probably won't miss it if it's gone.

I use the same idealogy with clothing, items aroung the house etc. Once you get it all cleared out, resolve not to bring anything else in unless there is something you are willing to let go of in it's place. Hope this helps!

May love and beauty follow you into this new decade dear friend! (Hugs)Indigo

Indigo, great idea! That's definitely the way of thinking I should be using! Many wishes of prosperity and happiness to you this decade!
