LAISSEZ LES BON TEMPS ROULEZ! LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL! I decided to keep my Christmas tree up and make it into a MARDI GRAS tree in the spirit of LOUISIANA tradition! I took some pictures of my set up. What do you think?

I also am going to be doing a few other holiday's with my tree as well! I want to do an Easter tree and a Halloween tree too! Crazy! But, fun! I LOVE a beautiful Christmas tree, so why not LOVE other holiday trees too! I'll make sure to post pics throughout the year so you all can see my creations!

Mardi Gras, also known as Fat Tuesday, is coming up soon! February 16th of this year is our big day. I am very excited as Mardi Gras is my favorite holiday of culture here! New Orleans holds the largest carnival festival of Mardi Gras in the state of Louisiana with Lake Charles, my city, number two!

Tabitha Bird: I took them with my iPhone so I didn't have you use a flash with my digital camera. Then, I reduced the contrast so the lights were so bright. It is hard getting tree pics to turn out right! And thank you!

Shadow: Thank you!! I know, Mardi Gras colors in general are very rich and blend so well together I think!! I am definitely enjoying them!! :D

But there's another face.

There's a side of chronic pain and mental illness you don't see. Another face. It's after you've just had it. After you've absolutely had it emotionally, mentally, and physically.
