Walk my way.

Mind. Body. Soul. I've been thinking much about that lately. I was at the computer typing something and I was thinking before I got up, that I wanted a glass of milk. Next thing I, honestly, remember is standing in the kitchen pouring a glass of milk and holding the glass up to my lips to drink it. I don't ever remember pushing my chair back to leave my desk, turning around to get up, walking to the kitchen, opening the fridge door, taking the cap off the gallon, grabbing a glass or shutting the cabinet afterward.

That is scary.

It's like we take everything for granted. Our every move. How often do you REALLY think about every single thing you are doing in detail? Exactly. Only when you realize that you aren't! Every action you make does something, or has an opposite reaction, as Newton states in his third law, I believe. Think about it, p r e s s the key on the keyboard, your intention is to have it make a letter for you on your screen, but after you press it, it returns right back where it started, and it always will. Because of gravity, nothing will ever stay where it is, with out help.

Take a can of air freshener for example. YOUR HAND grabs it and pushes down on a button to release the fragrance. Only with YOUR help does it do so.

So, this leads to the question, WHAT IS HELPING US?

*pause* Yeah I thought that was really deep too. What is helping us pick up the can of freshener, or the gallon of milk, or the glass? What is allowing us to type a letter onto the screen using mere plastic and metal?

Think about THAT.

***Anyway, I am doing okay. No boyfriend. BUT. I do need to bring something up for you guys to debate on concerning that. Heehee. SO you know me, great girl wanting a great guy. SO. I swear I didn't plan on this...but I (insert word for talking to someone but never met them before) this guy. GREAT GREAT GREAT. Amazing. He's from a city like 2 hours away from mine in LA and we've been talking alot. We seem to have alot in common. He's 26. 9 years older than me. *looks around and waits for someone to gasp* But, here's the biggggggest catch you guys, we are meeting on the 28th. He's coming here to meet me officially. Now, it wasn't technically online... it was through an iPhone application *slaps self?* ANYWAY, he really makes me happy and I REALLY hope it works out with us. He just, something is so different about him, than the other morons I've talked to. He's mature and nice and kind and caring and romantic and likes me for me. I think he is so sexy too. That's what I've been looking for. So, opinions? :D Be blunt like I love ya'll for being***

Mardi Gras here in LA is off to a great start! I went to one of the parades last night. It was great. Everything gets so crazy here. Tuesday is the big FAT TUESDAY and I know I will be having a goooood time :) The heritage and atmosphere is great to be around!!! So I will be enjoying myself. Who else is spending mardi gras doing something?

Have a great week you guys.

*** NOTE: That guy I was talking about in this post and I have cancelled our meeting. I didn't want to delete the entire post so I just left it and explained here. It just wasn't meant to be. (2-23-09)***

Girl I say trust your instincts and go for it... keep yourself safe and meet him in a public area first, let your g/f's know where you will be and when... have one call you 15min into the date so you have an 'escape' if you need one....

Im a big believer in spontinaity... and love love love....cant wait to hear how it goes...

dont blow your expectations out of control... as it may disappoint.. keep it cool... and have fun
