Honest Scrap Award.


I am proud to announce that I have been awarded the Honest Scrap Award by a wonderful and talented woman. Her poetry and words sooth my soul and truly make my mind shake with the comforting notion that life is a wonderland and we are all broken mannequins.

10 Truths about myself:

1. I over complicate the most simple situations. I do it because I like a challenge.

2. The thing I am most afraid of in life, is to fail. I want to be able to say when I'm old and dying that I am truly happy with the life I have lived. I don't think I can live with myself if I have failed at being the person I want to be.

3. I put too much faith in other people who always seem to end up disappointing me, when in fact, I shouldn't blame them, we are all humans. What did I honestly expect?

4. I plan my life out knowing that it will never turn out the way I plan. But, I don't care.

5. I have day dreams of being a bird.

6. I have always wanted to meet a complete stranger and end up being the woman of their dreams.

7. I have a list of inventions I have always wanted to have patented, but I never get around to bringing them to get reviewed.

8. I regret ever denying God.

9. Being an F.B.I agent, is something I want to accomplish one day. But, the cards are not in my favor because my family history revolves back to the KKK days. This knocks me out of the running completely. I despise my family for this.

10. I want to be a world renowned author and write to change people's lives. I wouldn't even care if I got paid, as long as my words touched one soul.

We have so much in common. I have also always wanted to meet a complete stranger and be the woman of his dreams. I try it out every so often.

AND I too daydream of being a bird. Flying. Feathers. Fabulous.

Final Execution.

Things are slowly getting better. I told my parents and closest people who knew the situation about the whole ordeal with my ex the other day. I am feeling much better to be quite honest. Everyone that I spoke to about it, said it didn't have to be taken as a bad thing. This was closure for me. This is the end of the rope. I know what I don't want and what I do want. After being hurt and used and manipulated, at least now I know what I am made of. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger right? Today was pleasant!! IT SNOWED! IT TOTALLY SNOWED ! Yeah, sorry, I've never seen snow before!!!!!! It was so amazing!!! Snow in Louisiana is  so uncommon. I woke up this morning, and there was snow EVERYWHERE. I ran outside and was like "holy crap this is great!" I yelled at my mom and she ran outside and I threw a snowball at her. Funny how sometimes you are just tempted to look at that old photo. The one where you and him are standing so happily, smiling, hair glistening in the sunshine of the setting sun at the boardwalk, waiting on forever to come. Then, you come across a picture of him and the one he left you for. Funny how you even came across it in the first place, right. You can't help but stare into his eyes and try to sense what he is feeling right there through that glossy picture. Is he really happier with her? Does he ever miss what he had before? Then, shifting a few centimeters over to her eyes, thinking, do you really know what you have? Why did you take him away from me?
