Sharon in Wonderland

I see God in the blue birds, hopping down the limbs of the trees, Flying to each other knowing they'll always fly free I see God in the sunlight, bright and so magnificent, shining down into my eyes to remind me that I'm vigilant I see God in the sunset, a canvas painted from the day, showing me that once more He's made a reason to sing out praise I see God in the starry skies, a darkness that still has light, this is a symbol of a close to a day with much delight I see God in the moon, which shows me one last thing, that as I end my day with Him, that tomorrow still has my dreams

With the rolling of the thunder I know that I'm alive Every breath I'm taking is a sign I've still survived The rain drops hit the roof and all that comes into my mind Is that even the clouds need a little time to let go and unwind The storm rolls in along this beaten old town country road The moon is out, the sun asleep, just me and a tree toad The wind is fierce and blowing hard, but peace, be still, with me God blessed me with much more than I could ever even believe He made the Heavens and the earth and me and you and them Now it's time to say my prayers and sing my nightly hymn
